Dissertation/ Synopsis
To acquaint students with the process of conducting and evaluating psychological research.
CO191: Students will be able to conduct research in an ethical manner.
CO192: Students will learn the procedures of statistical analysis.
CO193: Demonstrate an understanding of APA style referencing and utilising in writing of research reports.
CO194: Students will be able to write a research report in a comprehensible manner.
CO195: Students will be able to have an extensive understanding of conducting a research.
CO196:Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction
Students are required to:
· Determine relevant variables for a testable research proposal.
· Conduct a literature review identifying the research gaps and rationale of the study.
· Define the sample size and inclusion-exclusion criteria, formulate research objectives, and hypotheses.
· Develop an appropriate research design and identify the relevant analysis technique for the same.
· Cite all relevant sources using APA 7 guidelines.
