Introduction; determinants of criminal behaviour, schools of thoughts and theories of crime; prevention.

Psychology of Education

Role of Psychologists in the school system, Educational technology, behavioural modification in class rooms, early childhood education.

Unit IV: 
Environmental Psychology

Theories of environment and behaviour relationships, disasters, toxic hazards and pollution, effects of urban life and solutions to urban problems, changing behaviour to save the environment.

Indian Psychology

Self and Identity, Indian, perspective of emotion, application of Indian psychology: Yoga, Meditation, Vipassana.
