On completion of this course, the students will be able to:

CO127: Gain an overview of basic approaches, theories and techniques in counselling

CO128: Develop awareness about the contemporary issues and challenges in counselling Learn about the Indian forms of therapy.

CO129: Understanding the theoretical basis of therapies for Humanistic and Existential approach

CO130: Understanding the theoretical basis of therapies for Gestalt approach

Jungian analysis and therapy- theory of personality, analysis and therapy; Adlerian therapy: theory of personality, theory of therapy and counselling

Development of Psychodynamic Theories, Transactional Analysis, Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, Psychodrama
