To understand the meaning, nature, and scope of guidance; its application in school curriculum, classroom learning, and discipline; and the organization, techniques, and evaluation of guidance services involving school personnel and the community.
Students will be able to:
· Understand the concept of guidance, its need, scope. Classifying the application of guidance in educational, vocational, social and personal development of students.
· Remember the nature, organization and procedural aspects of Educational guidance programs.
· Analyze the effectiveness of school guidance services through effective classroom environment with deeper understanding of students and teacher characteristics and interactional relationship in classroom environment.
· Evaluate the importance of guidance in all the stages of character development and suggest recommendations for deciding guidance services provided to combat alcohol and drug abuse.
